1. Platform currency
POOOL operates in US dollars (USD). Every listing price, share price, fee, distribution and wallet balance is denominated, calculated and settled in USD. Your statement and receipts always show USD amounts.
2. Indicative conversions
Where we show amounts in Indonesian rupiah (IDR) — currently at an indicative rate of 16,280 IDR per USD — these are indicative conversions for orientation only. They are not binding offers, they refresh periodically rather than in real time, and the USD amount alone is authoritative for every transaction. (Platzhalter — name the reference-rate provider before launch.)
3. Deposits in other currencies
If you deposit from a card or bank account held in another currency, your payment provider performs the conversion and sets the exchange rate and any conversion fee. POOOL receives the converted USD amount and does not add a currency margin of its own. Ask your bank or card issuer about their rates before depositing.
4. Distributions and withdrawals
Rental distributions are credited to your POOOL wallet in USD. Withdrawals are sent in USD; if your receiving account is held in another currency, your bank converts at its own rate. Where local regulation requires payout in a local currency, we convert at the published reference rate at execution time and show you the rate on the receipt.
5. Rounding
USD amounts are calculated to the cent and rounded half-up. Indicative IDR displays are rounded to whole rupiah. Rounding differences never accrue to POOOL: distribution remainders carry over to the next payout cycle.
6. Currency risk
If your home currency is not USD, the value of your investment and income in your home currency moves with the exchange rate — independent of how the asset itself performs. See the Risk Disclosure for how currency risk interacts with the other risks of fractional ownership.
